In 2010, my world changed.
Both of my parents were diagnosed with cancer — my father with late-stage pancreatic cancer, and my mother with breast cancer. As a licensed Holistic Nutritionist and Holistic Dietitian, I was determined to find a more natural, integrative approach to support their health and quality of life.
During their chemotherapy and radiation treatments, one of the most heartbreaking challenges was appetite loss. They couldn't eat, couldn't keep food down, and were losing strength.
In my search for answers, I discovered something remarkable: Indonesia is home to over 21,000 medicinal herbs. So I made the bold decision to travel there — not just for answers, but for healing.

In Indonesia, I immersed myself in the study of Jamu, the ancient herbal medicine tradition passed down for generations. That's where I first discovered Temulawak — also known as Javanese Turmeric.
